PrepNow Tutor - Robin E.
Robin has a BA in English from Princeton and an MFA in writing from Columbia. She is an adjunct professor in sitcom writing at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, using her own extensive professional experience to instruct students in the art of writing for television. She has worked as a writer for several television shows and her work has appeared in numerous journals and newspapers, including The New York Times, Real Simple, and Glamour. She is currently a contributor to the radio show This American Life on NPR.
As part of the NYU faculty, Robin reads applications for undergraduate admissions. This experience gives her an insider's perspective on the role of the essay in the broader context of each application, and she coaches students to write personal essays that stand out.
