Seth has over a decade of experience helping students increase their understanding and scores, particularly in maths and sciences. Throughout his academic career, he tutored in quantitative reasoning, chemistry, chemistry calculations (specific to pharmacology), pharmacodynamics, and test prep. Having completed prerequisites in pharmacology at Georgia Military College and Augusta State University, Seth earned a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Georgia in May 2022. In addition to tutoring, he is excited to earn licensure to become a pharmacist.
Seth’s tutoring style involves curiosity and creativity. “I like to have the student show me how they learn or approach the material; then, I arrange my wording and examples to their preferred method,” he shares. Once the student develops greater confidence, they can more easily explore creative, alternative approaches to difficult material. When it comes to test prep, Seth is stocked with a host of techniques that helped him throughout graduate school and beyond. His sense of humor helps him connect with students and foster a relaxed learning environment. Overall, he wants his students to become more efficient, confident learners.
His exemplary GPA (4.0) earned him a spot on the President's List at Georgia Military College.
In his free time, he loves swimming and all things outdoors. He is especially fond of turtles and his penny collection. “I am a big nerd and geek for mathematics and video games, too!”
