Siddarth's Bio

An adaptable and resourceful tutor with a strong background in both physics and math, Siddarth holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. “I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts by breaking them down in clear and simple ways,” Siddarth says. A recent graduate, Siddarth is currently tutoring and taking online courses to further develop his skills while actively preparing to apply to graduate school.

Siddarth started tutoring in high school, teaching K-12 math and science. His specialty subjects to tutor have been physics, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus (AB and BC), and AP physics. “With my passion for teaching, I thrive in both one-on-one and group tutoring environments,” Siddarth says. “I’ve always loved sharing my wisdom and knowledge with students and helping students achieve their goals.” As a tutor, Siddarth is adaptable to different learning styles and he’s dedicated to increasing his students’ confidence levels. “My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to cultivate a genuine interest in the subjects they’re learning,” he says.

Siddarth’s teaching philosophy is centered around patience and taking the time to thoroughly work through examples with his students. “I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable tackling problems step by step,” Siddarth says. The reason behind this approach is rooted in Siddarth's own experiences, as he’s always found that he learns best when he can take his time and actively engage with the material. “I believe the most effective way to learn is by doing, so I encourage hands-on problem solving, and I guide students to discover solutions on their own, fostering deeper understanding and confidence,” Siddarth explains.

As a student, Siddarth participated in tennis, volleyball, and dance. He continues to love to play sports and dance and enjoys hanging out with his friends.

“I recently completed an internship at MIC Group, where I designed and built a self-automated storage rack,” Siddarth shares. “This system automatically detects when materials run low and sends notifications to the procurement team, streamlining inventory management and reducing manual oversight.” Fun fact: Siddarth can do a perfect cartwheel.
