Her strategic approach to college admissions incorporates traditional counseling and modern-day advising strategies to provide students with the knowledge and tools required to achieve academic goals in today's ever-changing college landscape.
Danielle became a college admissions counselor after noticing a growing need to help students navigate the college admissions process in a strategic yet empowering and meaningful way. “I love that I can play a role in helping students during such an important time in their lives,” Danielle says. “With choosing a college being one of the most important decisions a student will make as a young adult, it's rewarding for me to assist them during this transition and even see them learn something new about themself in the process.” Danielle has particular experience working with student-athletes, families in need of financial assistance, and transfer students. She emphasizes the importance of strategic preparation in all aspects of educational and workforce development during her students’ high school and college years, as well as throughout their entire careers.
“One of my most memorable success stories involved counseling a student who was completely conflicted about what type of college was the best fit for her academically and culturally,” Danielle says. “After working with her for several months on the college search, she was able to prioritize what she wanted from a college and was extremely satisfied with her final decision.” Danielle recalls that becoming a college student was her first real opportunity to learn about what she wanted for her future. “It provided an entirely new realm of independence and exploration,” Danielle says, reflecting on her excitement to share this with the students she mentors.
Beyond her career in college admissions, Danielle has worked heavily in the marketing and public relations field. She enjoys fitness, nutrition, health and wellness, and spending time with her family.
